FAQ

Common questions

Do I really pay only 1% tax as a freelancer in Georgia?+

If you register as an Individual Entrepreneur with Small Business Status and your activity qualifies, you pay 1% on turnover up to 500,000 GEL per year. Some activities are excluded, which is exactly what we check before registering you.

When do I become a Georgian tax resident?+

Generally after spending 183 days in Georgia within any rolling 12-month period. Residency can be advantageous or costly depending on your situation — we help you plan it deliberately rather than by accident.

Can you take over accounting from my current provider?+

Yes. We regularly onboard clients mid-year, review prior filings for errors and take over communication with the Revenue Service.
